Something blue and a new pair of shoes!

Shoes, shoes, shoes! What bride (or all women, for that matter) is not excited about their wedding day footwear? It gives you a chance to splurge on a special pair – aside from the collection we have growing in our closets.

Bridal shoe trends are always stirring up something new, but our friends at Simply Bridal have actually found that the number one thing brides look for in a wedding shoe is….(drumroll please) comfort! That’s right. Sparkle, satin, and killer heel height take a spot behind the most important reason. Who wants to be in pain while breaking it down on the dance floor anyway? As far as prices go, according to the research, most brides don’t spend more than $100 on their fabulous footwear – and many use the DIY approach to jazz them up.

What about these popular Florida beach weddings? Some girls leave the shoes in the dressing room, and let their pretty pedicure do the walking, while other trends commonly seen are cowboy boots and ballet flats – talk about comfy and cute! Nonetheless, to each bride, her own.So, what do you think? What is your number one shoe choice for your big day?
